A Bit About Me
I am currently a faculty member at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada. I teach writing courses in the English department.
I got my PhD from Miami University in English-Rhetoric and Composition in May 2025. I got my MA in English: Composition and Rhetoric at Ball State University in May 2020, and have also pursued a smattering of graduate certificates: Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Miami University; Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Arkansas; and Master Teacher of Writing from Texas A&M-Texarkana.
And before grad school I was a high school English teacher and an afterschool program manager.
